Patrick K. Wong
Patrick K. Wong
Patrick really wanted to go by his middle name of Kai for a really long time, but on his first day of college, he introduced himself to everyone as Patrick out of habit. Now he holds onto that middle initial for dear life. Known by friends and acquaintances alike as PeeWong (for how often he has to go number 1), Patrick's a food-loving multimedia creator. With a background in documentary film and television news, Patrick has written, produced, and filmed for a variety of outlets in several different mediums.
Patrick currently serves as the Brand Director for Roli Roti, after being the Marketing and Community Director at Nomiku and the Community Marketing Manager at Smitten Ice Cream. He's also the videographer/editor for online multimedia magazine and creative agency, Menu Stories; and co-founder of food-inspired streetwear line, Mother Sauce. Patrick is also a freelance writer, videographer, and photographer.
You can find his work in Food & Wine, Eater SF, Tastemade, Bon Appetit, Vice Munchies, Thrillist, Opening Ceremony, POPSUGAR, SFWeekly, Moet, Praetorian Digital, WeedHorn, Chefs Roll, and Tastemade among others. He has collaborated with Sprinkle Lab; and shot with Top Chef winner, Mei Lin; Chef Jacques La Merde; and Dara the Bow Girl; and has been featured in CIO.
After nearly five years in NYC, Patrick now resides in San Francisco, California where he cooks and eats as much as he can, religiously attends his CrossFit classes (so that he can eat the way that he does), and spends as much time as possible with the people he cares about.
Patrick is also available as a freelance writer (previous beats include food and dining, tech, and public safety), videographer, PR and social media consultant, and your best friend on cheat days. If you want to work with him, he probably wants to work (and/or eat) with you too. You can email him at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the form below.
